Matrix Recruitment is seeking an experienced Quality & Environmental Manager for a manufacturing site in South Kildare.
This is a site-based leadership role with responsibility for quality systems, environmental compliance, and sustainability performance across manufacturing operations.
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:

Quality & Compliance Leadership – Own and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 systems, ensuring full regulatory and audit compliance.

Environmental & Sustainability Management – Lead EPA licence compliance, energy efficiency, sustainability initiatives, and environmental reporting.

Operational Quality Assurance – Ensure products are fit for purpose, reduce customer complaints, manage QC testing, and investigate deviations.

Stakeholder & Governance Engagement – Act as site lead with regulators, auditors, and group stakeholders, including expert input when required.
What You Need
-
5+ years’ experience in Quality & Environmental Management within a manufacturing / industrial environment.

Strong knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001) and leading external audits.

Proven ability to lead change, improve product quality, and manage regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication & problem-solving skills, with confidence engaging external authorities.
