Qualified Practice Accountant required for firm in Co. Roscommon - full time permanent role.

My client is looking for a qualified accountant to bolster their growing team with a newly created role due their continued growth and success.

Hybrid working arrangement. 

Package is negotiable depending on experience.

Working Hours: 9am-5.30pm - Mon-Friday

Our client is a small firm of Chartered Accountants.

Your new job

The position will involve delivery of quality accounting and taxation compliance services to an extensive client base. The role will involve all normal duties associated with a progressive and developing small practice .

• Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies

• Preparation of sole traders’ accounts

• Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts

• Performance of various data analysis for clients

• Calculation and submission of corporation taxation, income tax, VAT, Paye, P35’s etc

• Dealing with ongoing client queries via meeting, email and on the phone

• Working to the CRO and Tax Deadlines

What are we looking for?

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in a practice essential

• Qualified accountant ACCA, ACA, or CPA

• Experience from a large or SME practice is required.

• A positive and professional manner, with strong communication skills essential

• An ability to work under your own initiative is a must.
