Job description
Matrix Recruitment is hiring a Project Manager for our pharmaceutical client in Co. Louth.
Contractors’ role/ 11 months / extensions
Your new role
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead site projects (e.g. process improvements, system launches, new product introductions).
- Apply project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) to match project needs.
- Define project scope with stakeholders at initiation.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track progress and keep projects aligned with plans.
- Resolve issues and escalate risks as needed.
- Promote project management best practices across the site.
- Support the local PMO in delivering high-quality project outcomes.
What You Need:
- Degree in Engineering, Science
- 6+ years of experience, including at least 4 years managing projects.
- Ideally has worked in pharmaceuticals, especially in sterile environments like vaccines or biologics.
- Skilled in project management tools and techniques.
- Has worked with cross-functional teams (different departments working together).
- Bonus points for a project management certification (like PMP) and Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt) experience.
