What you need to know

Our client who are a well tenured Irish owned company are seeking Project Engineer to join their team.

This role reporting into the Operations Manager and will be integral in designing aluminium profiles to customer specifications and general tailored needs.

This is a permanent role running on a Monday to Friday basis 8:30-5, with a 4PM finish on a Friday.


Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively with customers on specifications and pricing.

  • Purchasing of parts needed for upcoming projects.

  • Daily use of CAD and Solid works in the design of aluminium profiles and any specific requirements from customers.

  • Adherence to the relevant standards in Quality.

  • Involved in co-ordinating effectively with other departments.

  • Emphasise the companies’ services to any potential or existing customers.


What are we looking for?

  • A degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a similar Mechanically based discipline.

  • Exposure to using CAD and Solid works in a working environment.

  • Proficient in MS Office package particularly Excel.

  • An interest in getting involved in the design stage of projects.

  • Solid communicator and can cross communicate effectively with other departments.
