Our client, a fast-growing privately-owned industrial group in the South-East of Ireland, is embarking on an ambitious new chapter alongside several other major capital projects across the business.
As Project Manager / Engineer, you will lead the full life cycle of these projects, from early-stage planning through to handover, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to world-class standards. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, planners, and contractors, managing internal and external teams to bring high-impact projects to life.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all Group capital projects, including a new manufacturing facility.

Develop detailed project plans and timelines, aligning with stakeholder goals and resource availability.

Coordinate with external engineering, planning, and architectural partners to ensure design quality and delivery standards are met.

Oversee the full project lifecycle, from feasibility and permitting through to site handover.

Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety standards, in line with Group policies and statutory regulations.

Manage subcontractor relationships and daily site operations, ensuring alignment with construction schedules.

Identify and resolve site-level issues, delays, or unforeseen events – keeping projects on track.

Oversee procurement processes for major equipment and key project inputs.

Engage with planning authorities and lead the planning permission process.

Ensure high standards across safety, build quality, cost control, and timelines.

Track and report on project progress, escalating key risks or opportunities to senior stakeholders.
What Are We Looking For?

5+ years’ experience in project management within the construction or industrial/manufacturing sector.

Degree-qualified in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

Proven ability to manage complex construction projects from initiation to completion.

Strong knowledge of current building regulations, planning rules, and certification standards.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and regulatory bodies.

Strong commercial acumen with experience in equipment procurement and budget control.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities across simultaneous projects.

Practical knowledge of safety systems, site management, and issue resolution on active sites.
