What you need to know
You will work as a Production Scheduler for our client a highly successful and established manufacturing company in the South-East.
You will be responsible for production scheduling, capacity planning and preparing routing models with production, engineering, automation and technical teams.
This is a permanent job with a very attractive salary and benefits package.
Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
Manage the production scheduling process to maximise production efficiency, capacity, volumes and maintain customer service levels.
Liaise with Materials Planner on inventory levels and any availability issues that need to be dealt with.
Create a six week schedule with some flexibility and a 2 week fixed production schedule.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance to plan.
Produce all metrics and KPI’s for plant reporting needs and ensure all stakeholders are aware of performance.
Prepare and issue manufacturing orders to facilitate allocation of materials and ensuring packaging requirements can be met.
Develop best in class planning processes.
What are we looking for?
Business degree or APICS
Proven experience in a Manufacturing environment (3 years+ in the Supply Chain cycle)
Strong on MS Excel and SAP Experience would be an advantage
Problem solver, analytical and strong communicator
