You will work as a Production Planner for our client, a highly successful and established manufacturing company in the South-East.

You will be responsible for production scheduling, planning, inventory control, and accuracy.

This is a permanent job and you will report to the Supply Chain Director.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Manage the production scheduling process to maximize production efficiency, capacity, and volumes, and maintain customer service levels

• Manage inventory levels to support production and fulfilment of orders, keep obsolescence to a minimum

• Develop best-in-class planning processes

• Maintain a strong working relationship with manufacturing and demand planning

• Develop a planning strategy that encompasses all key variables e.g.: NPI, current needs and expected future needs, Lean requirements

• Manage costs and achieve KPI targets

• Highlight any major supply issues to Supply Chain Manager

What are we looking for?

• Business Masters/Degrees or APICS

• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment (5 years+)

• MS Excel expert level and ERP systems preferably SAP
