Your new job
Key duties and responsibilities:
- Act as a senior member of the team within the private equity fund accounting function, ensuring timely and accurate completion of deliverables.
- Review and oversee the production of Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) and client reports, ensuring quality and compliance with service standards.
- Coordinate daily workloads, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to internal and client Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact for audits and client queries.
- Provide ongoing coaching and training to team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process automation and system optimisation projects.
- Contribute to departmental planning and delivery of strategic goals, including collaboration with offshore teams.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of private equity markets, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
What are we looking for?
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent) preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
- Experience in Private Equity, Private Capital, Real Estate, Fund Accounting, the property industry or similar financial reporting functions.
- Proven mentorship skills.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on client service.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with fund accounting systems is a distinct advantage. Investran experience advantageous.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
