​Our client, a very successful AI Irish start-up company providing bespoke accounting services are looking to hire Payroll Team Lead. This is a new job with an excellent opportunity to be part of company with significant growth plans.

This job is 100% remote role.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for all Payroll queries

• Problem-solve Customer payroll issues with your team on a daily basis

• Manage completion of all payroll requirements in a timely manner

• Work closely with the accounting & processing teams to ensure payrolls are being prepared efficiently and correctly

• Work closely with Product team to ensure software enables ease of oversight and autonomous payroll preparation

• General oversight of & responsibility for client payroll status

• Liaise with the product and software development teams to optimise your workflow on an ongoing basis

What are we looking for?

• IPASS or Accounting Technician qualification.

• You must have 4+ years’ work experience in managing a large payroll ideally within an accountancy practice.

• Excellent numeracy skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.

• Have the capability to deal with and solve problems and issues in the correct manner.

• Excellent communication and administration skills are essential for this role.

• Strong IT skills, comfortable using modern online productivity tooling such as Google Apps.
