​Our client, a well-known group based in Co. Roscommon are seeking a Paving Supervisor to join their organisation.

The Paving Supervisor will oversee projects in Leitrim, Roscommon, Cavan, and Sligo.

This is a permanent position, working week Monday – Friday onsite.

The Paving Supervisor reports directly to the Construction and Operations Director.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The supervisor would be involved in road contracts and the reviewing of road maps.

• Meet with local authorities.

• Conduct measurement of the roads.

• Traffic management arrangement.

• Work closely with the operations director in getting an understanding of the project.

• Conduct a final inspection of the completed work to ensure it meets all specifications and quality standards.

• Ensure the site is properly cleaned and all equipment and materials are accounted for and returned.

• Ensure all team members adhere to safety regulations and protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.

• Identify and address any issues that arise during the paving process, such as equipment malfunctions or unexpected site conditions.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualification in an engineering/construction discipline.

• Supervisor experience in paving projects and surface addressing projects.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with team members, clients, and other stakeholders.

• Ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions quickly.
