Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
- Assist audit seniors with audit file preparation for a portfolio of clients.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for clients ranging from sole trader businesses to limited companies.
- Preparation of VAT, payroll and routine company secretarial returns for a portfolio of clients.
- Work within a team to provide advice as required to support your clients to help them achieve their business objectives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
What are we looking for?
- Working towards an ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualification, with 1 year+ of experience in an accountancy practice.
- Technical knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and auditing standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
