Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit-Mechanical Engineer for our well-established client, based in the Waterford area.

This is a permanent position & an urgent requirement for my client.

This is a facilities based mechanical engineering role – black facilities – HVAC, Purified water.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Manage and control all aspects of facilities services.

• Provide all processes with a standard of service to meet required volume & yields.

• Supervise and motivate facilities technicians- ensuring equipment preventative maintenance with agreed project work is completed.

• Ensure all safety and plant IPA system are maintained and operational ready.

• Ensure compliance to national, international and regulatory standards.

• Provide mechanical support.

• Assist with system re-design and optimization of plant services & equipment.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Building Services /Mechanical Engineering or similar.

• Experience in a manufacturing industry.

• Experience of H.V.A.C., Purified Water, Compressed Air, Steam, and general building services essential.

• Familiar with the regulatory & statutory requirements- FDA, ISO and HSA.

• Decisive, good communicator, self-motivated, have record of achievement and be a good team member.
