Do you have experience in materials planning, procurement and logistics?
If so, my client, Oxymem, is hiring a Materials and Procurement Planner to play a key role in ensuring the smooth, cost-effective flow of materials and equipment across the supply chain.
This role will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimising purchasing and logistics activities to support manufacturing and project delivery.

This is a permanent contract, Monday-Friday, 8.30am-5pm.
Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:
Purchasing & Materials Planning
- Create and manage purchase orders for raw materials, components, and MRO items.
- Track supplier deliveries and resolve potential shortages.
- Maintain accurate purchasing and supplier data in the ERP system.
Logistics & Warehouse Management
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics to meet production and delivery schedules.
- Optimize transportation routes, freight costs, and warehouse operations.
- Manage relationships with carriers, 3PLs, and external warehouses.
Inventory Control
- Monitor stock movements, usage trends, and inventory accuracy.
- Oversee cycle counts, stock checks, and corrective actions for variances.
- Prioritize warehouse operations to align with production and material needs.
What are we looking for?
- Qualification in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business or a related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience in materials planning, procurement, inventory management, or logistics.
- Hands-on experience with ERP or inventory management systems.
- Proficient in MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
