Job description

Our client, based in Co. Offaly, is looking to recruit a Master Production Scheduler. This is a new hire to join an established Supply Chain Department.

They are a dynamic, growing, manufacturing company producing healthcare products. They are now keen to hire a Master Production Scheduler who will join the Supply Chain Team. This will suit an experienced Production Scheduler with at least 4-5 years' experience and reports to the Supply Chain Manager.

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for the creation and continuous update of the Master Schedule.

  • Identify manufacturing bottlenecks.

  • Responsible for maintaining stability of material and capacity requirements.

  • Perform what if analyses to assist in optimal scheduling, prioritising and key decision making.

  • Implement risk mitigation strategies to maintain service levels.

  • Assist in forecasts, allocation, inventory, supplier, and delivery.

  • Support Material Analysts with Production Planning as needed and required.

  • Manage MRP upload and Material Master Data integrity.

  • Collaborate with other department on any production planning issues.

  • Assist NPI team with material requirements and costs.

Requirement and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, and IPICS an advantage

  • 5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Production with people management experience.

  • Extended knowledge of planning processes (MRP, MPS, S&OP)

  • Strong Computer skills (ERP, MS Excel, Business Information tools)

  • Capability to drive and sustain performance improvements
