An innovative and growing medical devices company in Co. Roscommon who provide their clients with bespoke and high-quality medical device products is currently seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team.

In this role you will be report to the Engineering Manager on-site and you will be responsible for manufacturing support, process issues and identifying equipment faults.

This role is a Permanent position and will include benefits such as employer pension and private medical insurance. This role will operate on an evening and a night shift pattern operating from Monday to Friday.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Work effectively alongside Engineers on developing, trouble shooting, standardising, and improving existing production processes and procedures.

• Ensure and carry out scheduled Preventative Maintenance.

• Set up equipment and facilitate changeover.

• Involved in the implementation of process improvements.

• Calibrate equipment.

• Adhere to the Quality and environmental management systems.

What are we looking for?

• Trade orientated qualification as a Toolmaker, Fitter, Electrician, or a qualification in Mechatronics is a must.

• Similar Technician experience in a medical device manufacturing setting is desirable.

• Experience in completing maintenance tasks on a range of equipment.

• Ability to work effectively in a team while being able to work on their own initiative.
