What you need to know
Our Client, A Longford based manufacturer is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
This position will be responsible for all Mechanical issues on the Production Line and ensuring optimum efficiency.
Please note that this position is on a 4 cycle shift pattern Day and Night shift.
Duties and responsibilities
· Reactive to Mechanical issues on the production line
· Repair Production orientated equipment, conveyors, packaging systems, gearboxes and hydraulics.
· Closely monitor machine performance
· Complete PMs in adherence to PM schedule and keep all maintenance work logged and reported
· Work cross functionally with Production Supervisor and Manager in handovers and highlighting issues/resolutions
· Contributing to Engineering briefings
What we need from you
· Qualification Minimum Level 6 in Mechanical/Electrical
· Exposure to Manufacturing orientated to high-speed packaging/processing highly desirable
· Experience in Maintenance systems Pemac/CMMS
Have a good knowledge of Pneumatics, Hydraulics, Welding, Fabricating and machining.
PLC Experience an advantage
