Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit – Maintenance Electrician  for our client, based in Kildare region

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Responsible for maintaining & troubleshooting electrical and mechanical equipment & systems.

• Execute preventative maintenance programs.

• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and resolve recurring issues.

• Manage spare parts inventory and reorder as needed.

• Ensure proper functioning of electrical systems including wiring, lighting, and production machines.

• Collaborate with the production team and support staff training.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

• Record maintenance activities in the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

What are we looking for?

• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting.

• Must be qualified Electrician.

• Understanding of mechanical & electrical process plant maintenance.

• Knowledge of PLCs, communication protocols, & process control systems.

• Familiarity with ATEX zoned areas & equipment.

• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office, ERP/CRM, and Outlook.
