We are recruiting for an Industrial Electrician for our client based in north Co. Tipperary. This company is a nationwide leading manufacturer that has facilities operating across the country that is continually focussing on growth. This is an exciting opportunity allowing you to contribute and to be a part of the company’s growth.

In this role you will be reporting to the Maintenance Manager on site, and you will be responsible for all electrical elements that effect the day-to-day production in the plant.

Your new job

Duties and Responsibilities

• Carry out planning and scheduling of maintenance works ensuring maximum operational efficiency and minimising downtime

• Carry out fault finding and ensure it is in line with lean manufacturing principles

• Ensure that maintenance work is carried out within the agreed company budget spend and within the agreements of the Maintenance Manager and Site Accountant

• Carry out installation repairs and planned preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems, compressors, motors, pumps, heat recovery systems, ventilation systems and controls.

• Maintain regular contact with installers and contractors to ensure that installation is completed to the required standards

What we need from you

• Electrical Trade Qualification is a must

• Experience as an Electrician in a Manufacturing setting

• Effective communicator with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff

• Understanding of tight deadlines and the companies’ goals

• High level of analytical and fault-finding skills
