What you need to know

Our client based in Offaly with operations in the West are looking to recruit an HR Officer to work with the HR Team in providing HR Support for its Irish divisions.

My client is a leading global provider of products and services that support patient care right across the globe. They are a dynamic, growing, and exciting business. It’s great opportunity to take a step up to gain more experience and responsibility.

The HR Officer will report into the Senior HR Manager providing a customer focused and HR Advice to managers and employees.

This is a 1-year Fixed Term Contract

 

Your New Job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide HR advisory service across several manufacturing sites.

  • Support and guide the Investigation of employee relations issues including grievances and disciplinary matters

  • Support managers with the performance review process to ensure a culture of high performance.

  • Work with line managers to establish recruitment requirements and manage and participate in the full cycle of the recruitment process, from guidance in developing job descriptions, creating job profiles, advising, and designing appropriate selection methods, and participating in interviews as required.

  • Ensure HR administration and systems are maintained up to date in a timely and accurate manner and implement improvements.

  • Maintenance of the HR system

  • Updating HR policies and procedures.

  • Support and guide other HR Staff.

  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time in line with your role

 

What are we looking for?

  • At least 2yrs+ experience in a similar role or 4+ years as HR Administrator in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3rd level qualification in a Business / HR related discipline.

  • CIPD Qualified

  • Strong communication (verbal & written) skills.

  • Excellent time management required.

  • Key attention to detail.

  • Strong IT skills / computer literate (Microsoft Office Packages)

  • Strong experience with HR Systems

  • Full clean driving license with willingness to travel to other sites.
