Our client who are based in Co. Offaly and have a long-established entity in the Midlands region are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their team.

The HR Manager will play a pivotal role as a vital member of the Leadership Team responsible for shaping and executing the strategic vision.

This is 1 year contract position, working week Monday – Friday. Hybrid.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage daily human resources operations with efficiency

  • Work closely with the Leadership Team to elevate business performance

  • Contribute to operational and commercial success by offering guidance on intricate HR issues.

  • Deliver precise HR advice and assistance to both employees and management.

  • Take charge of workforce planning, encompassing adjustments in staff numbers and recruitment endeavours.

  • Formulate succession strategies to ensure seamless leadership transitions.

  • Handle employee relations matters and engage with unions and external entities as necessary.

  • Uphold uniformity in HR policies and initiatives throughout the organisation, collaborating with HR counterparts .

  • Lead and nurture the HR team across various functions, exemplifying leadership standards.

  • Advocate for health and safety measures and integrate performance management into resource planning efforts.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field

  • At least2 years’ experience previous involvement in a senior management team contributing to business strategy implementation

  • Prior experience within a unionised work environment

  • Experience in leading and managing a HR Team

  • Excellent MS Office and familiar with HRIS systems

  • Strong communicator
