What you need to know

Our client based in Co. Longford with other manufacturing sites in Ireland and UK are looking to recruit a HR Manager to manage two of their Irish sites.

They are one of the leaders in their field of expertise expanding rapidly over the past few years.

They are now keen to hire a HR Manager in managing HR responsibilities across two sites.  The successful individual will be critical in achieving targeted growth strategies across the business.

This will suit an experienced HR Manager with at least 5+ years' experience.

The position reports to the Group Head of HR.

 

Your new job

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead on IR/ER initiatives.

  • Continuous evaluation and improvement on existing processes and procedures

  • Responsible for all HR related KPI’s to drive business performance management.

  • Manage recruitment and induction process.

  • Key point of contact for employee issues

  • Develop effective partnerships with people managers throughout the business.

  • Provide quality guidance in developing and progressing people management solutions to achieve business objectives.

  • Manage day to day HR Services in an effective and efficient manner.

  • Work collaboratively with the leadership team to drive business performance.

  • Support HR projects within the Group.

  • Develop succession plans/talent management programmes.

  • Work and Support the Head of HR and the wider HR team to ensure common policies, programmes and initiatives in the areas of Reward & Benefits, Performance Management, Health & Wellbeing, Succession Planning and Leadership Development are implemented consistently within the Business.

 

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in a HR Manager role ideally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

  • Masters/ Degree in HR and CIPD qualified.

  • Excellent leadership skills, developed with a collaborative approach to driving performance and success.

  • Proven experience in strategic HR programme delivery, strategic planning, risk management and change management

  • The ability to evaluate complex situations accurately, identify creative solutions and make decisions that create successful outcomes for stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Good commercial business acumen.

  • Knowledge of psychometric tools & HR software systems would be advantageous.

  • Travel to Co. Cork site weekly.
