What you need to know

Our client based in Offaly with other locations in the Midlands is looking to recruit a HR Manager to manage one of their divisions.

They are one of the market leaders in their area of expertise with huge successful over the last number of years. This a dynamic, growing, and exciting business.

They are now keen to hire a HR Manager who will join the senior management team, managing HR responsibilities for one of their divisions.  The successful individual will be critical within the HR Team to achieving targeted growth strategies across the business.

This will suit an experienced HR Manager with at least 5+ years' experience.

The position reports to the Head of HR.

 

Your new job

  • The HR Manager will lead, drive, and enhance a wide range of leading-edge HR initiatives with the main objective of building and developing a positive work environment.

  • Manage day-to-day HR services in an effective and efficient manner. Provide accurate HR advice and support to management and staff in relation to all aspects of the employment relationship.

  • Develop succession plans and supports to ensure a strong leadership pipeline with leaders who have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to deliver on business strategy.

  • Design and implement interventions in personal development plans, strategic resourcing etc. to ensure that the company has the right competence and commitment to deliver strategy.

  • Effective management and resolution of all employee & industrial relations issues, in accordance with employment legislation, company policies and best practice. Main point of contact for all union engagement

  • Lead on IR/ER initiatives.

  • Ensure HR policies, programmes, and initiatives in the areas of ED&I, Heath & Wellbeing, Reward and Performance Management and Succession Planning are implemented consistently.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with HR colleagues in other divisions to share information and ensure consistency of approach on HR related matters.

  • Create a Culture of high performance within the team, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.

What are we looking for?

  • 5+ years of experience in a HR Manager role.

  • Masters/ Degree in HR and CIPD qualified.

  • Union experience.

  • Excellent leadership skills, developed with a collaborative approach to driving performance and success in the global environment

  • Proven experience in strategic HR programme delivery, strategic planning, risk management and change management

  • The ability to evaluate complex situations accurately, identify creative solutions and make decisions that create successful outcomes for stakeholders.

  • Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

  • Good commercial business acumen.

  • Knowledge of psychometric tools & HR software systems would be advantageous. HRIS Data Entry
