Matrix Recruitment Group is currently seeking a Head of Planning for a large manufacturing facility in the South East. This is a permanent role.

Salary and benefits package are competitive and there will be opportunities for advancement.

As the Head of Planning, you will report to the Supply Chain Manager, and you will have a significant number of direct reports.

This role focuses on developing and delivering production plans that meet customer service expectations as well as optimizing the efficiency of manufacturing operations.

Your new job:

Key responsibilities:

• Influence planning strategy by determining and evaluating current and future requirements.

• Work closely with manufacturing and demand planning teams to ensure production plan optimizes capacity for maximum utilization, yield, and efficiency.

• Manage inventory levels.

• Identify and manage supply chain risk.

• Participate in projects at global level.

• Integrate new product introductions.

• Train, manage and develop planning team.

What are we looking for?

• Business Masters/Degree or relevant APICS or Planning and Inventory Management qualification.

• Proven experience of working in WCM/Lean manufacturing company within planning and inventory management.

• Excellent communicator and interpersonal skills.

• Expert SAP user with configuration and functional knowledge.
