Are you an experienced Front Office Manager with experience working in the hospitality sector?

My client is looking to hire a Front Office Manager for their 4 star luxury hotel based in Athlone, Co. Westmeath

This is a permanent job with company benefits.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage the operation of the front desk

  • Ensure positive guest experience ensuring arrivals/departures procedures are followed

  • Implement training of SOP’s

  • Head your weekly staff meetings

  • Liaise with reservations for room availability

  • Work alongside other departments including accounts, restaurant and reservations

  • Promote the hotel brand to staff & customers

  • Oversee the maintenance of administration

  • Recruitment & training of new employees

What are we looking for?

  • Previous/Current work experience as a Front Office Manager – essential

  • Working knowledge of Front Office Systems, preferably Opera is essential

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong leadership/management skills

  • Ability to multitask & prioritise within a fast-paced environment

  • Fluent in English written & oral
