Your new job
Key responsibilities will include:
- Drive the efficient running of the finance function within the business and lead the AP, AR and Payroll team members.
- Preparing and analysing financial statements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Presenting financial performance insights to senior management, identifying trends, opportunities and risks and supporting decision-making.
- Leading the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, developing financial models, and monitoring variances.
- Designing and maintaining strong internal controls, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and corporate governance standards.
- Partnering with external and internal auditors during review processes.
- Managing cash flow and liquidity, monitoring banking activities, and implementing strategies to enhance working capital.
What are we looking for?
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- 3+ years’ post-qualified experience in a similar role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge as well as financial regulations and reporting standards.
- People management experience preferred but strong mentorship experience will also be considered.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders and take ownership of key finance areas.
- Strong systems and Excel skills required.
