Matrix Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for their client, a charity organisation based south of Waterford city.

This role will suit you if you are a qualified accountant with an active membership with a recognised accountancy body.

This is a part-time position on a 3 month contract basis.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts.
• Cashflow and budget preparation and management.
• Manage and oversee procurement, in line with the relevant procurement framework.
• Lead the finance team.
• Preparation of files for external auditor.
• Ad-hoc duties relevant to the department.

• Membership of a recognised accountancy body such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, ACMA, CPA.
• 4 years' or more post qualification accounting experience
• IT proficient with experience in accounting, finance and budgeting systems.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritise workload.
