Our client, a highly successful and established multinational, are currently seeking a Financial Accountant to join their facility in Dublin West. This position reports directly into the Finance Manager.

This is a permanent job with a strong salary and excellent benefits package on offer. The role will suit someone who has a practice background and 2/3 years experience in the commercial/shared services environment.

There is an option to work from home up to 2 days per week with this role.

Your new job

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the general ledger and sox controls process

• Responsible for the month end and year end closes and verify compliance with US GAAP

• Participate in month end calls and discuss month end KPIs and resolve any issues that have arisen

• Preparation and review of monthly reconciliations and journals

• Liaise with external and internal auditors

• Prepare financial statements

• Develop strong relationships with SSC team

• Work closely with the Supply Chain team on ensuring prices and POs are completed correctly
