​Our client who are a reputable services provider for leading medical devices and pharmaceutical companies, are seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team.

​

As a facilities technician, you will be reporting to the facilities manager, and you will be key in the maintenance and the functioning of the plant.

​

Please note that this role will be on a Permanent basis and on a Monday to Friday Day time fixture.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

​

• Involved in equipment/facilities related process deviation investigations and non-conformances. Following up with a root cause investigation and identifying corrective/preventive actions when necessary.

• Troubleshooting equipment and work with control systems and PLC’s.

• Ensuring that there is a timely escalation process.

• Review Plant downtime and be proactive in suggesting improvements.

• Monitor, log and review all call outs and schedule call out rota in line with production demands.

• Maintain SOPs/Work Instructions and engineering procedures as necessary.

• Involved in the ordering of required parts for planned and unplanned maintenance.

What are we looking for?

​

• A degree in Engineering or a Trade qualification.

• Two to three years’ experience as a Facilities/Maintenance Technician.

• High level of attention to detail and a proactive approach to there day to day duties.
