Our client who has a major global entity in providing staffing solutions to companies across the world are seeking an Industrial Electrician to join their team.

The successful individual will be carrying out their work in a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in County Westmeath.

Please note that this is a full time Permanent role. The hours of work are 8-4:30 Monday to Friday.

Your new job

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Carry out maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by client specification. Follow the Company’s procedures when working on a client’s premises.

• Upgrade fittings from fluorescent to LED.

• Observe and follow all working practices and to always ensure compliance with the appropriate health &safety statutory requirements.

• Maintain all Company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable, and safe manner.

• Ensure all Company paperwork is completed.

• Participate in the Company’s out of hours emergency call out rota as the need arises.

• Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner and in line with company procedures.

What are we looking for?

• To be a Qualified Electrician is a must.

• Previous experience carrying out electrical work in a Pharma setting would be an advantage but not necessary. Experience in other industrial settings would suffice.

• Knowledgeable and conscientious on regulations associated with the Pharma industry/GMP.

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also having exposure to working on their own initiative.
