I am currently recruiting for an Electrical Commissioning Engineer for our client based in County Westmeath. Our client is key in providing commissioning management for mission critical facilities. In the last 15 years it has grown into one of the leading M&E consultancy firms in the midlands.
As an Electrical Commissioning Engineer, you will be involved in mission critical facility projects in Ireland and Europe. Please note that many of these projects will operate on a Monday to Friday daytime basis. The client will provide subsistence, travel, and accommodation allowances. Excellent salaries based on experience.
Your New Job
Duties and responsibilities:
Involvement in L3/L4/L5 Commissioning.
Managing and executing L3 commissioning with vendors.
Develop L4 scripts and executing scripts. Develop L5 scripts and executing L5 IST testing.
Troubleshooting Electrical issues and portray technical competency.
Participate/manage Cx meetings, issue meeting minutes.
Represent the client on projects in a professional manner.
What are we looking for?
A degree in electrical engineering/building services.
Possess visa/work permits that will allow you to work in Ireland and the EU.
Previous Data Centre commissioning experience is highly desirable.
3-5 years’ experience in experience in HV/MV/LV systems including UPS, Generators, Switchgear, busbar, and distribution systems.
Excellent written and verbal English.
