A innovative and growing manufacturing company in Co. Roscommon who provide their clients with bespoke and high-quality products is currently seeking a EHS Manager to join their team.

This position will be integral in providing the highest standards of Environmental management, Workplace safety, regulatory compliance additionally acting as a lead on sustainability commitments.

This position is a Permannet position on a Monday to Friday Daytime basis.

Duties and responsibilities

•         Promotion of EHS cross functionally with other stakeholders in the business

•         Focus on Continuous improvement through regular training and awareness activities

•         Managements of ISO 14001 standards

•         Involved in Sustainability programmes such as energy usage and waste management

•         Manage and support customer sustainability assessments

•         Lead and manage risk assessment programmes

•         Support the EHS management and incident program.

•         Carry out regular audits/inspections for EHS compliance

•         Act as a representation during external audits and representations

What we need from you

​

•         Level 8 degree in EHS or similar discipline

•         5 years EHS experience in a manufacturing setting

•         Proven experience in leading and delivering in Environmental and sustainability initiatives

•         Proactive and the ability to collaborate with multiple departments
