Matrix Recruitment are seeking to recruit- EHS Coordinator for our well-established client, based in the Kildare area.

This is a permanent position.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Responsible for the EHS agenda and programmes for the site.

• Ensure compliance to all EHS related legislation, policies and standards.

• Promote and act to create and maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

• Lead and support existing EHS Programmes and implement new as required.

• Support operational areas with regards to EHS advice.

• Complete and support risk assessment process across a range of areas and topics.

• Deliver EHS related training programmes to all levels.

• Promoting and driving a pro-active health & safety culture.

What are we looking for?

• Degree in Health & Safety or related field.

• Environmental Qualification preferred.

• 4+ years' experience in a similar position within manufacturing, preferably in the food industry or other similar regulated manufacturing industry (pharma).

• Knowledge of EHS legislation.

• Self-motivated, results and solution-oriented.

• Positive attitude.
