Matrix Recruitment is working with our client, a global leader in medical technology, services, and solutions to hire a Design Engineer II to join their team in Co. Galway.
You will be involved in the Design Assurance team reporting to the Senior Quality.
Please note that this role is a 12-month contract. The role will also be Hybrid based on Monday to Friday daytime basis.
Your New Job
Duties and responsibilities:
Involved in preparing test method validations, design verification and shelf-life protocols / reports.
Communicate effectively with departments, both internally and externally to build strong collaborative partnerships.
Provide support to cross functional teams to design protocols to ensure that product/process changes are adequately evaluated/tested.
Integra in technical reliability studies and evaluations of engineering design concepts and design of experiments (DOE) constructs.
Recommend design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability.
Completes risk analysis studies of design and processes using FMEA and other Risk Management tools.
Support CAPA, non-conformance, and complaint investigations.
Propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability.
What are we looking for?
Minimum a level 8 degree in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum two years of post-graduation experience in a medical device’s product design.
Willingness to communicate daily with differing departments.
Ability to make sound decisions and take accountability.
