What you need to know
An Industry leader in environmental and infrastructure services is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Dublin 4 based site.
The position will focus on ensuring accurate, reliable, and well-structured asset data that supports efficient maintenance, operational decision-making, and regulatory compliance.
The role focuses on optimising the PEMAC CMMS, developing and reporting asset performance KPIs, and driving improvements in asset reliability through effective data management and analysis.
Duties and responsibilities
Manage and optimise the PEMAC CMMS to ensure accurate asset data, work order tracking, and maintenance records.
Develop and report on plant availability and reliability KPIs (MTBF, MTTR, downtime, asset criticality).
Maintain high data quality, including correct asset tagging, fault codes, and failure modes.
Produce asset performance dashboards and analyse maintenance trends to improve reliability.
Coordinate with teams and contractors to ensure timely completion and closure of work orders.
Support procurement and inventory management for critical spares.
Contribute to continuous improvement, predictive maintenance strategies, and regulatory compliance.
What we need from you
Degree or equivalent in Engineering, Maintenance Management, Data Analytics, or related technical field.
Hands-on experience with PEMAC or another CMMS (e.g., Maximo, SAP PM, Infor EAM).
Strong knowledge of plant availability metrics and maintenance performance KPIs.
Competence in Excel, and preferably Power BI, for generating automated reports and dashboards.
