What you need to know

We are currently seeking a Compliance Consultant for our global financial services client, based in Dublin (hybrid working available).

This is a 6-month contract.

Your new job

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the execution of the Compliance Monitoring Program, the interpretation of Regulation, provision of advisory services to the business and the maintenance of policies and procedures, as well as input to EMEA and Global projects as directed

  • Work extensively with the business units to understand their processes and business practices

  • Testing of the business unit policies and procedures will also include sample reviews of activity to ensure that the business units are following their policies and procedures

  • Compliance Testing reviews across 2 - 4 legal entities

  • The outcome of the testing and verification needs to be prepared in formal reports to share with the Chief Compliance Officer, Director of Testing and Verification, Senior Management of the Business Units and Senior Management as appropriate

  • Risk Assessments

  • Regulatory review and monitoring and advising the business on upcoming

  • Meeting attendance, report writing and presenting

  • Policy and Procedure review and update

  • Sundry training, workshops, regulatory updates, ad hoc projects in addition

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent is required

  • A compliance related qualification is desirable

  • Detailed knowledge of Ireland regulations coupled with compliance experience or experience in audit or Compliance at a medium or large Bank or Fund Administrator desired

  • The ability to multitask high-priority items

  • The ability to manage through confrontational issues successfully and tactfully

  • The ability to evaluate risks and identify mitigating controls

  • Excellent Interpersonal and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work a team environment

  • Strong reporting and presentation skills
