What you need to know
Do you have experience working as a Billing Coordinator/Administrator?
Our client in the Healthcare sector is looking to recruit a Billing Coordinator to join their team.
You will be responsible for managing the billing process for their patients, ensuring accurate invoicing, insurance requirements, and clinic procedures.
Mon-Fri 37.5 hours per week. Working days will consist of hours below
8am-4pm
9am-5pm
10am-6pm

Key duties & responsibilities:
Issue patient invoices
Submit insurance claims & follow up on outstanding payments
Perform quality checks on applications and insurance forms to ensure correct completion i.e. patient details/patient procedures etc
Cross-check patient medical records
Maintain billing logs & patient account records
Follow up with debtors on overdue accounts/payments
Support monthly billing reports, audits & data reconciliations
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce claim errors, and enhance revenue cycle performance.
Ensure strict GDPR compliance and uphold patient confidentiality
What are we looking for?
At least 2 years experience in a medical billing/ healthcare administration role is essential.
Qualification in medical administration, healthcare, or finance – preferable
Proficiency in billing systems and relevant administrative software tools.
Knowledge of private health insurance providers and claim submission processes.
Understanding of medical terminology
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high-quality data entry and billing accuracy.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise
