What you need to know

You will work as an Accounts Payable Assistant for a large distribution company in Dublin West. This role is a permanent one and you will report into the Financial Controller. You will be part of a team of 6. The role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Your new job:

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Process the purchase invoices on a daily basis to include invoice matching, coding and verifying accuracy.

  • Ensure credit invoices and employee expenses are correctly authorized and coded.

  • Manage the payable runs as required.

  • Reconcile creditors on a monthly basis.

  • Produce month-end bank reconciliations.

  • Resolve queries with suppliers.

  • Support internal customers.

  • Maintain creditor master file.

What are we looking for?

  • 2/3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • High level of Excel skills

  • Proven track record, can prioritize work

  • “Can-do, will-do” attitude
