What you need to know:

You will work as an Accountant (Newly Qualified) for our client, a major pharmaceutical company, based in the South East. You will report to the CFO, and you will be an integral part of a small Finance team.

This is a permanent job with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer. Working from home will be considered after successful completion of the probationary period. This role will suit an Accountant who has a strong commercial acumen.

Your new job:

You will be responsible for the management and financial accounting for the business.

Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end financial reporting process.

  • Produce and present Monthly Management accounts.

  • Prepare group reports on a monthly basis for both the Financials and Treasury.

  • Liaise with auditors and take responsibility for the statutory audit.

  • Manage the inventory accounting process.

  • Determine cost of goods, margins, and analyse variances.

  • Liaise and manage outsourced financial partner.

  • Assist with budgets and forecasts.

What are we looking for?

  • Newly Qualified Accountant.

  • Knowledge of SAP would be an advantage.

  • Flexible can do, will do attitude and an excellent problem solver.

  • Advanced Excel skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and highly inquisitive.
