​What you need to know
You will work as an Accountant for our client, a long established European owned manufacturing company based in Kildare.
You will report to the Finance Manager, and you will be an integral part of a small Finance Team.
This is a new permanent job with an attractive salary and benefits package on offer.

Your new job
You will be involved in all the management and financial accounting elements of the business.
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Manage the month-end financial reporting process

• Assist in the production of monthly management accounts

• Ensure all invoices are raised in month and reconcile to Sales Ledger

• Prepare monthly payroll and manage the payments

• Assist with Budgets and Forecast

• Take responsibility for certain Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations

• Identify and implement improvements to the financial processes

What are we looking for?

• Ideally qualified accountant but will consider qualified by experience (accounting technician)

• Manufacturing experience would be good

• Strong on systems – JDE experience would be an advantage

• Flexible can do, will do attitude and problem solver

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong attention to detail and highly inquisitive
