As vaccinations increase and restrictions ease, we suddenly find ourselves in a period of great flux within the Irish workforce. HR has had to turn its focus to talent acquisition and retention. As a result, there has been a huge demand for experienced Recruiters to join HR teams to cope with this increase in demand. Many in-house recruitment teams are turning to agencies as a solution to fill jobs quickly and as a source to headhunt for their own teams. This is turn is leading to increases in salaries for experienced Recruiters who are now more in demand than any other HR team member.
2022 is set to be a great year for the HR professional. They will get to welcome colleagues back to the workplace and engage with them through a new and very different lens. We expect to see more roles being created in the areas of talent acquisition, training, wellness and performance management.
