Warehouse Operative
Our client who are a long-standing manufacturer in Athlone, County Westmeath are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join their team.
This is a 6-month contract role with an option to extend.
This is a Monday – Friday role (8am – 4:30pm)
The warehouse operative is responsible for maintaining the efficient flow of warehouse operations, including storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and on time.
Warehouse Operator responsibilities:
Arrange and maintain pallets in designated areas for safe and secure storage.
Wrap, strap, label, and load pallets correctly for on-time delivery.
Safely operate forklifts, wrapping, and strapping tools.
Maintain a clean, hazard-free warehouse, follow safety protocols, and handle finished products with proper labelling and storage.
What we need from you?
Experience of working in an industrial manufacturing environment desirable.
Proven experience operating a forklift is essential, with a valid forklift license.
Mechanically minded with good attention to detail and the ability to multi -task.
Reliability and punctuality are essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments as a supportive team player.
