My client a global healthcare company with a facility in Offaly is looking to hire a Talent Acquisition Specialist. This is a new job within the company and will oversee/support the recruitment of jobs in Ireland and Europe.

The Talent Acquisition specialist will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a company's long-term goals. This is an exciting job with plenty of opportunity to develop in the role.

• Conduct intake meetings to fully understand job profiles to manage.

• Posting adverts on STERIS Career Page and job boards.

• Source applicants through online channels, such as LinkedIn.

• Screen candidates fitting with the required profile.

• Plan and execute preliminary interviews.

• Own candidate funnel, including tracking and reporting.

• Follow up with candidates and with hiring leaders.

• Build and manage a pipeline of active and passive candidates.

• Contribute to ensure the best hiring experience to candidates and hiring leaders.

• Support to the organization of Talent Acquisition initiatives such as career day events or job fairs.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor or Master Degree ideally in Human Resources

• At least2 years previous experience as Talent Acquisition Specialist/ Recruiter

• Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods

• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems

• Familiarity with social media, resume databases and professional networks

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Keen understanding of the various roles within the Organization

• Strong sense of urgency on tasks and deadlines

• Experience in analysis data and reporting on key metrics.
