Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Practice Accountant for our client based in Wexford. 

In this job, you will report to the partners and become a key member of a vibrant team of proactive accountants, financial and tax advisors.
This position will be based on-site with our client in a permanent position. There is some degree of flexibility around start and finish times. Employer provides opportunities for growth and progression.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

• Review of financial accounts and tax computations for sole traders, companies and partnerships

• Effective management of a portfolio of clients

• Maintain strong relationships with clients

• Work closely with a diverse team of experts

• Oversee, mentor and guide junior staff as required

• Assisting with ad-hoc queries from clients as required

• Client facing experience will be available from an early stage and this role includes career development opportunities

• Contribute to the growth and development of the Practice

What are we looking for?

​

• CPA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant with a minimum of three years’ experience working in a Practice environment

• Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge

• Ability to successfully manage deadlines and teams

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Commercial awareness and a strong customer service focus

• Willingness to develop professionally

• An interest in helping businesses achieve their potential

• Excellent organisational skills
