Our Westmeath based client who is a leading Engineering Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join there expanding team.
In this position there will be a strong focus on MEP Installations, Design Engineering, mentoring junior staff, site inspections and maintaining client relations.

Duties and responsibilities

• Focus on project requirements and deliverables

• Focus on electrical design solutions in projects orientated to commercial, healthcare, industrial, educational and residential sectors

• Preparation of electrical budget estimates, managing project costs

• Plan workload for junior members of staff

• Attend Site meetings and site inspections

• Work with designers on BCAR inspection plans, and carry out inspections at key project stages

What we need from you

• Minimum Level 8 degree in Building Services Engineering or Electrical Engineering

• Strong knowledge of Electrical Engineering, guidance documents, wiring and building regulations within Ireland

• Knowledge in electrical design software applications, Dialux, Amtech, E-Tap, Auto CAD, Revit, Navis Works

• Commercial electrical projects and working within a design team on commercial building projects
