Matrix Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Senior Custody Client Services Consultant for our client, a leading financial services company based in Limerick.

This is a 12-month contract with potential for extension or progression depending on business needs.

This role offers a hybrid working model.

Your new job
Key duties & responsibilities:

  • Provide senior-level support and oversight for daily custody client servicing activities, ensuring high standards of delivery and client satisfaction
  • Act as the key point of contact for client escalations, providing swift and effective resolution while maintaining strong relationships
  • Lead and participate in service reviews with clients, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring expectations are met or exceeded
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal teams and third parties, such as trustees, advisors, and external consultants
  • Track performance against service delivery targets and implement actions to drive operational excellence
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, risk frameworks, and relevant regulations
  • Support a positive and inclusive team culture, contributing to staff development and process improvement initiatives
  • Mentor and guide less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging continuous learning
  • Collaborate on cross-functional projects to enhance client experience and operational efficiency
  • Complete all consultant responsibilities in line with governance and regulatory standards

What we are looking for:
  • 3+ years' experience in custody, client services, or fund operations within the financial services industry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve complex client issues while maintaining strong working relationships
  • Technical knowledge of the securities industry, its products and instruments
  • Organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise when needed
  • Proven ability to drive service delivery, efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
  • Proven track record of working in a high-performing, client-facing role
  • Organised, solution-focused, and adaptable to change in a dynamic work environment
  • Experience coaching or mentoring others is a plus
