What You Need to Know
We are currently recruiting for a Credit Analyst to join a dynamic finance team within a global organisation based in Co. Westmeath. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to independently manage a portfolio of EMEA-based accounts primarily in Germany and Austria. You’ll be focused on credit control, account reconciliation, and collections, while building strong relationships with customers and cross-functional teams.
This is a Contract role.
Your New Job
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day accounts receivable and collections activity across an assigned customer portfolio.
Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and credit issues, offering practical solutions to reduce risk.
Maintain regular contact with customers and internal departments to follow up on outstanding payments.
Proactively reduce bad debt write-offs and support compliance with internal credit policies.
Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline invoice processes and troubleshoot non-standard disputes.
Prepare detailed reporting on portfolio performance and overdue accounts using Excel and ERP systems.
Assist in process improvement initiatives across the order-to-cash function.
Support internal administrative tasks such as invoice filing and tax documentation handling.
Attend customer meetings (virtually or in person) to resolve complex issues and maintain relationships.
What Are We Looking For?
A minimum of 2 years’ experience in credit control or collections.
Third-level qualification in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions).
Experience with SAP or other ERP/CRM systems is an advantage.
Strong organisational, communication, and analytical skills.
A collaborative mindset with a continuous improvement approach.
