About the Role
Matrix Recruitment are currently seeking a Production Operator to join a well-established team in the medical device manufacturing sector in Galway.
The successful candidate will support the manufacture of prepared microbiology media and be involved in the day-to-day operations of media production. This hands-on role requires a proactive approach and a strong work ethic, working to high standards in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the manufacturing of prepared microbiology media.

• Participate in the daily running of production activities and associated tasks.

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow within the production environment.

• Maintain cleanroom standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Attend internal and external training as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally within a cleanroom or GMP-regulated setting.

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow processes and procedures precisely.

• Flexible, hardworking, and a team player who enjoys working with others.

• Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities effectively.

• Results-driven, with good time management and organisational skills.

• Willingness to undergo comprehensive on-site training.
