Matrix Recruitment is seeking a skilled RCV Driver for a permanent, full-time position based in Co. Meath.

 In this role, you’ll operate refuse collection vehicles and hook/chain trucks to complete skip and bin waste collections from a range of domestic and commercial customers.

What You Need to Know
Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Operate RCVs, hook-lift, and chain-lift trucks across assigned waste collection routes

• Ensure safe and compliant collection of bins and skips, adhering to proper manual handling techniques

• Oversee helpers on RCV routes and ensure best practices are followed

• Conduct and document daily vehicle checks, route sheets, and safety inspections

• Use digital systems for reporting and route tracking as required

• Maintain all assigned vehicles in a clean, roadworthy condition

• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies

• Interact professionally with team members, customers, and the general public

What We Are Looking For

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in transport or the waste industry

• Full driving licence with valid CPC certification

• Safe Pass and Manual Handling certification desirable

• Strong understanding of vehicle safety and route procedures

• Proficient in spoken and written English

• Flexible and willing to support various tasks across departments

• Must be legally eligible to work in Ireland
