Matrix Recruitment is working with our client, a global leader in medical technology, services, and solutions to hire an R&D Engineer II to join their team in Co. Galway.

Please note that this role is a 12-month FTC, and the hours will consist of a daytime Monday to Friday basis.

Your new job

Duties and responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team to design, develop, analyse, troubleshoot, and provide technical skills during research and/or product development.

• Work with stakeholders to achieve desired results.

• Delivering and overseeing projects from design to implementation.

• Optimise Finite Element Analysis (FEA) in the day to day.

What are we looking for?

• A degree in an Engineering discipline

• Exposure to Finite Element Analysis

• Two years’ experience in product design in a medical device setting

• Capable of working in a team environment while also having the ability to work on their own initiative
