​Matrix Recruitment is working with our client, who are a leading food production company to hire a Quality Assurance Officerto join their quality team in Co. Tipperary.

As a Quality Assurance Officer, you will work with and support the Quality Assurance Team in relation to quality matters on site. You will also work with the laboratory team and promote good food safety culture on site. You will report to the Quality Assurance Manager.

 Your new job

Responsibilities:

• Conducting HAACP and hygiene compliance audits.

• Ensuring SOP adherence and compliance checks.

• Working with the Quality team to ensure compliance with Quality Standards on site.

• Responsible for cross site internal audits.

• Assisting with managing the Food Safety & Quality Management System.

• Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and legislation.

• Conducting regular on floor inspections checks.

What are we looking for?

• 2+years’ experience in a similar Quality role is desirable.

• Experience in the food industry would be beneficial.

• Experience and knowledge of quality systems is an advantage.

• Good communication skills and strong teamwork skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
